Everything about Jesus Everything for Jesus

  • The Christian believer is to glorify God in all things. Why? Because God created all things, and these things belong to the Lord. Our life is to reflect God’s glory by what we say and what we do. What would it look like for each of us to purposely choose to glorify God in all things? This first promise will be foundational to the next four promises.

  • Corporate worship is not optional. You cannot be a particularly good Christian without other Christians walking alongside you. The world is hard enough alone and we all need Christian friends. God has given us a great gift in the form of Christian fellowship, and the Word of God commands us to gather in the Lord’s name often. We do this to share God’s great love together and to build up each other in the ways of Jesus.

  • Many people are willing to keep learning about other things that advance their careers or hobbies. However, very few seem to want to keep growing in the knowledge and grace of our Lord and Savior. Some of the sweetest times in the Christian life happen when the believer is challenged to grow in their faith. The Lord has this plan for His people, both collectively and individually, to build up the Christian’s faith and grow them in Christ.

  • God is calling Christian believers to steward their resources, and part of that stewardship is the act of generosity. Generosity is the only antidote to potential greed and the worship of money, regardless of your income level. The act of generosity is not just for Christian individuals alone but is also an activity that churches, networks, and denominations can participate in to extend their Kingdom-building work far beyond their circles.

  • God is calling Christian believers to boldly go tell others about Jesus.  This isn’t just the pastor's job or the evangelism committee.  This is the job of every Christian.  People need to hear about Jesus, and we are called to help others hear the good news.
